A Message from the Principal
Hi WAPMS Families,
Welcome to the 2023-2034 school year. We are glad you are joining us as we embark on an exciting year of teaching and learning at W.A. Perry Middle School. I am excited about all this new school year has to offer. To our incoming 6th-grade students, welcome to the WAPMS family; we look forward to seeing your growth over the next three years.
This year we will renew our commitment to excellence in all that we do, as we seek to provide world-class instruction daily with the expectation that all students can learn and succeed. We will continue to provide students with opportunities to address academic deficiencies, build numeracy and literacy skills, and have the opportunity to participate in gifted and honors classes. We will continue to implement initiatives to promote teaching and learning. Furthermore, we look forward to partnering with all stakeholders to positively impact student performance in every content area.
Our school theme is All the Way Up: Excellence on Purpose! It is our desire to keep moving forward and make this school year great! As we move forward, you will hear me refer to our theme in future communications, in school messenger phone calls, and in our community. Nothing will stop the W.A. Perry Eagles from going All The Way Up! Excellence doesn't just happen....it's intentional and on PURPOSE!
