Students in the BLAST Aerospace Program take Project Lead the Way Courses that use hands-on learning and the engineering design process to explore concepts in aviation, aerospace, science, technology, and math.
These Project Lead the Way courses are provided as an elective for students in the BLAST Aerospace Magnet program. BLAST students are required to take one BLAST elective course in the school year, but many students can take two depending on their other elective choices and academic needs. Core content such as math, ELA, science, and social studies are taken with their core content teachers.
